Handcrafted items naturally show individual variations in appearance, size, and color. These variations are part of their authentic, artisan nature and are not considered defects.

5. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase products. We reserve the right to accept or decline orders for any reason. Payment must be received before order fulfillment begins.

For customization services, digital proof approval is required before production starts. Once production begins on custom items, orders cannot be cancelled.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping timeframes are estimates and not guarantees. International shipments may face delays due to customs processing. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or carrier issues beyond our control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping addresses. Additional charges apply for address corrections or reshipment due to customer error.

7. Returns and Refunds

Custom-engraved or personalized items cannot be returned unless defective. Standard merchandise may be returned within 14 days of receipt in original condition.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return results from our error. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving returned items.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including product images, descriptions, and artisan information, is protected by copyright and remains the property of maple mca or the respective artisans.

Products featuring Indigenous designs or cultural motifs are sold with respect for their cultural significance. Customers should use these items appropriately and avoid cultural appropriation.

9. Limitation of Liability

Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific results or outcomes from product use. Our liability is limited to the purchase price paid for products or services.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from product use or service provision.

10. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved through:

1. Initial attempt at informal resolution through direct communication
2. Mediation as a second step if informal resolution fails
3. Arbitration or Ontario courts as final recourse
